About Instructor Nicholas Tapia
Nicholas Tapia has been teaching dance professionally since 2009. He started instructing ballroom, transitioned to Argentine Tango (won the US Championships), then stumbled into swing where he ended up winning a few Lindy and Shag competitions and coaching a team along the way. After a pandemic detour into other projects and then some world traveling, he’s back to dancing, diving deep into Balboa while still teaching Shag and Tango in places like Japan, Korea, Lithuania, Germany, and California.
He believes partner dancing is one of the best things a person can do for themselves and their community.
