Beginners Welcome! ​

Come learn to dance in lovely Point Richmond! No previous dance experience or partner is required. All of our professional dance instructors are extremely welcoming to beginners and constitute a bringing together of  the top independent instructors of each of their respective styles of dance from around the Bay Area .

ABOUT CLASSES

Drop in, or buy a discounted class card you can share with a friend or family. Each card is good for all classes and workshops taught by that independent instructor. 

MONDAYS

7:15-8:15 BEGINNING EAST COAST SWING with Chad Kubo & Kristen Paulin. Learn the basics useful for swing, jitterbug, rock n roll,  & Lindy hop - No dance experience necessary!
8:15-9:15 INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED LINDY HOP 
with Chad Kubo & Kristen Paulin. Learn the dance craze that took the country in the 30s, 40s! Super fun music!

TUESDAYS

7:00 - 8:00  INTERNATIONAL STYLE LATIN AMERICAN with Christian Solares. Learn the basics of rumba, cha cha, samba, and jive. 
8:00-9:00   AMERICAN STYLE LATIN DANCE with Christian Solares.  learn some fun patterns to use on the dance floor 

WEDNESDAYS

Kids Dance on Summer Break - Back in September!
4:00 - 5:00  KIDS DANCE BRIGADE  with Tom Mayock. ​8 Class Series $120/ Drop in $18 Ages 5-10. Elephant dance, be a monkey, and more!  On 
5:15 - 6:15 BELLY DANCE FUSION with Hannah Romanowsky.
Make your body feel great with a low impact workout through traditional dances of the Middle East. This class is danced without a partner
6:15- 7:15  SALSA & BACHATA with Mark Ellis.
Sizzling Latin rhythms get your body moving.  Beginners and experienced dancers alike will have a blast in this class.
7:30 - 8:45  BRAZILIAN SAMBA with Mary Dollar. Great beat, energetic fun dance party! This is the authentic Brazilian samba danced solo or as a group.

THURSDAYS

​7:00 - 8:00  INTERNATIONAL BALLROOM - with Christian Solares.  International Style basics that apply to all ballroom styles. JUNE: QUICKSTEP   JULY: WALTZ  AUG: FOXTROT
​8:00-9:00 AMERICAN SMOOTH with Christian Solares - Open up your moves with patterns in American style waltz, foxtrot and tango. JUNE: VIENNESE WALTZ   JULY: SLOW WALTZ  AUGUST: FOXTROT

FRIDAYS

6:00 - 7:15   INTRO TO ARGENTINE TANGO  and
7:30-8:45  INTERMEDIATE ARGENTINE TANGO
with Christy Coté and David Orly-Thompson . Authentic Argentine Tango that gets you ready for the Milongas around town. Mini milonga after class

SATURDAYS

5:30-6:45 BRAZILIAN SAMBA with Mary Dollar. Come dance this fun party dance and, if you want, use your new skills to join Mary to dance at the Carnaval Parade in San Francisco on May 29th!
